Photo: Karaoke Night
Jamie

Justin's officially on holidays so we decided to go out for dinner last night and it turns out it was karaoke night! That's our waiter singing Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash. He sounded great!

I know there are still a few weeks left, but I couldn't wait any longer to have a new calendar, so I crafted this one together from outtakes of a freebie calender at the library.  I love being able to see the year as a whole and a quick reference check for dates just one glance away from the computer.  It comes in handy for sure when planning and double-checking things.  2013 is coming, there ain't no doubt about it.

I have not been in my crafts room for more than just a few seconds which resulted in things building up and that always becomes a crafts-room-repellant. I did some paperwork and actually made my own lip balm yesterday! It was not a complete success, the scented oil wasn't very strong, but I am just so glad I finally DID something!

Jamie, that is so wild your waiter sang! And congrats for being on holidays, that's wonderful.

Shannon, you are so clever and creative! I have never had a year-long-at-a-glance calendar like that. So glad you have one now!

Wow, look at all that crafting - crafting a calendar, crafting lip balm. That's awesome.

I wish I could sway I was on holidays. I'm still working for a while. But it's nice to be taking some festive time with Justin :)

Oh bummer! Sorry you're not on holidays too Jamie but it will be nice to have Justin home and helping out even more around the house and get to have festive time which rocks! Reg is working all next week too so I am still going to be in Suzie-work-mode (whatever that means) for a while too.

WOOHOO to Karoke and lip balm! I'm so excited to hear both of you are up to awesome stuff - yee haw!!

Oh I find this kind of calender essential, last year there was a real estate agent that dropped a bunch off in the mail box and I snapped those suckers up quickly! I like my new one though, it's a little bigger and I see the 3 set of 4 months, which is much more how I think of the year (than 4 seasons of 3 months).

I hope you get to be on holidays soon Jamie!

That's awesome you have an even better one now Shannon! I was supposed to get my Milk calendar but the woman's kids got sick. I'll figure something out!

I often get the calendars at the library or my grocery store... it's a good time of year to keep an eye out for them. Usually they are filled with ads so they are often free! I haven't had a milk on in years!
