Jamie

I love this picture.I met a new cat on the way home from co-working with Tanya yesterday. He had that same teenage look about him as the interloper. He lives in the same 'hood. No collar. Looking hungry. Very wary. And then all of a sudden he headed over and was a complete love muffin. We had great cuddles and there were lots of purrs. And then he discovered that I had some cat food in my bag. So, yes, I gave him just a little treat and I took this picture. And I'm sharing it even though it reveals that yes, I've turned into one of those ladies who carries around some cat food, just in case.

Shannon

I was very happy that when I cleaned up a bit I not only found my copy of The Great Gatsby (left), I also cleaned up my whole table! Go me! I was also hoping this would deter the cat from jumping on it in the middle of the night, but alas...no luck there!

Crocheted Steampunk Spat

Suzie

I finished one Tie-Me-Up-Spats last night! Now I just hope I have enough yarn to make another one. Ravelry is a great place for patterns. You do have to join but it's free and this pattern was readable, in case you're interested in making spats too Jamie. Shannon, I'm sure you know this but they also have knitting patterns too.

Wow! Colour me impressed with each of your accomplishments.

Shannon, it's great to see that red table. WTG! I know that's a big job and a big deal!

And Suzie, wow, those are amazing. I asked on Facebook if they button up but from their name, I guess they tie up. I love Ravelry and have my eye on an amazing, amazing scarf pattern. The problem is I can't for the life of me figure out how to read a pattern! You're inspiring me to figure it out though!

Jamie, I love that you carry around treats for the cats! And how beautiful that cat ended up warming up to you like that, so sweet.

Shannon, that is a major accomplishment. I still have no yet tackled my desk, what a big job and what a difference! Too bad Gobo still likes attacking that space.

Thanks Jamie and yes, these tie up! Of course now I need to find ribbon, LOL. I wanted my first pair to be very old school and easy. If you send me the scarf pattern, I can see if I can make sense of it. I know the basics quite well now, I think, LOL.

OMG I love that cats hefty feet! Something so awesome about randomly meeting cats, and how lovely it turned into a cuddly encounter! And yay for having cat food,... just in case :) You are definitely a cat lady!

Your spats look awesome Suzie! Er, I guess it's singular spat for now, lol! You could make a cord with yarn, well I know how to knit one and I wonder if there is a crochet equivent. I'm on Ravelry too (as planetshannon), but not been on for ages. I will have to re-familiarize myself with it!

Thanks for cheers and support on clearing the table, it was a lot easier this time. When I did it a bit ago I was totally out of whack the whole next day, but not this time. I guess clearing frequently and having a home for stuff really helps!

It's true, look at those paws!

I know, I guess it is a lone spat right now, LOL. Oh, make my own cord eh? I can look into that!

I am glad doing the clean up today wasn't so hard Shannon and yes, things having a home helps!
