Jamie

As promised, I've been making lots of booties! I've been working with the yarn that I have on hand but have indulged in another order. These are finally starting to feel like I get them :) I love crochet projects!

Shannon

Toasty tootsies for me thanks to these awesome slippers from Jamie!!! Yippee!! I love 'em :)

Yesterday I took over 200 photographs. I keep waiting for a day where the sun isn't absolutely blaring into my window creating harsh (yes, kind of cool) lighting. A plethora of sunshine in November when the sun is low and jamming in through my window is not something I am used to. Normally I wouldn't complain either but with the sun going down at 4:30, there is only so much time and opportunity. So I went crazy yesterday and just got it done.

BTW, Brie experts, does Brie sometimes taste like mushrooms to you? I haven't had it in a while so I'm not sure what's normal anymore but these mini cheese wheels tasted mushroomy.

I love that Shannon and I both have the booties up today! I think the pair you have are my favourite so far, Shannon! I'm so glad you love them. Yay!

Ooh, look at that brie. I'm a big brie fan. Yum! I've never noticed a mushroom taste though, I have to say. I'll have to go buy some and test that theory ;)

These look so lovely!

omg, total tandem pics two days in a row Jamie! Crazy!!

I'm so glad you got some good light yesterday Suzie! Mini cheese wheels of brie goodness..nom nom nom. But I've never noticed a mushroomy flavour in Brie. Haven't had it in ages though, I like Jamie's idea of testing it out! hehehe.

Look at all the booties! Jamie, you are amazing! :) Crochet projects rock, I agree and wish I had bought more yarn, LOL.

OK, so neither of you a mushroom taste eh?! I think I will use one of the cheese wheels in a major grilled cheese sandwich to taste test it again.

Maybe I just don't like brie with jams and such? That's when I really noticed the mushroomy flavour.

I've never had brie with jam...maybe it's the jam or the combo? I only have brie on crackers so I can really taste it. And once in a sandwich with granny smith apples, but I prefer just on crackers :)

It might be the combo Shannon. I prefer it on crackers too. It didn't work so great on my sandwich, kind of melted into butter, LOL. I had to freeze the rest which should make for an interesting future mac and cheese one day.
