Rewind: July 22, 2012

Jamie

One of the surprising (though perhaps it should have been) impacts of hosting Susannah Conway's book tour this weekend was it reminded me of how much I love creating events. As we were moving tables and setting up yesterday, it reminded me of my theatre days. I think I miss them more than I thought I did. Now that I know, I have a funny feeling some new things are going to show up!

Happy Bday Shannon!

Suzie

In honour of Shannon's birthday being around the corner, I wanted to share this photo I took of you Shannon when you were getting your nails done for Jamie's wedding. Especially since you and Jamie have been going on this nail experimenting journey.

Happy Early Birthday Shannon! BTW, I just LOVE this photo of you so I had to share.

I just love that picture!! That was so fun and exciting getting our nails done. I really loved Laurie. She was lovely and really committed to doing great work.

All of my wedding memories mean so much to me. Thanks for taking us back to that day, Suzie.

And guess what? My nails are still holding up! I can't believe it. I have been rough with them. Laurie would be tsk-tsk-ing because, as Shannon recently reminded me, she would say, "Nails are jewels, not tools."

Oh that's interesting Jamie, I wonder how theatre is going manifest in your life again. It sounds like you need and OMG, what a cute photo of you! I love that side of you and agree, she needs to play.

Laurie was amazing, she even got me to think about my nails differently. I'm glad you like seeing photos related to your special day Jamie, I am happy to share.

No way? Those nails are amazing! OK, I am inspired that you put them through the ringer and they're doing well. Which ones are they again?

One thing is that I think I'll be throwing more parties :)

They're Salon Effects by Sally Hanson. $10 at Shoppers Drug Mart. Colour me impressed!

Alright! The party thrower, love it. You are so good at creating experiences Jamie. It is one of your super powers. Oh right, good to know about the nails, got it.
