Jamie

Downtown at a currency exchange getting euros. There's some travelling learning - sometimes it can take several days to get the currency you need at the bank. Plan ahead to be sure you can exchange your money before you go. It was also cool to see that the different denominations of euros are also different sizes. Very cool.

Shannon

I spend a lot of the weekend watching films. I know, I say that every weekend, but this weekend it was literally hours on end and film after film which mean knitting galore. I got the front of the sweater I'm working on done, although I think my cat believes it's a blanket for him.

Suzie

Saturday was an amazing day in downtown Halifax with an old fried, a newish friend and a completely new friend. I got to see so much that I did not know existed. It was a great day. Sunday, was much harder. Glad it is Monday.

Jamie, that is an excellent travelling tip! I had no idea either.

Shannon, I love seeing you knitting and knowing you're having a blast watching all those movies with Gobo to keep you comfy. So cute!

I think I always go through the 'were is that??' with outside pics! Trying to see the streetcar and street view! I don't think I've ever been to a currency exchange.

So cool to see you out and about and having fun in Halifax Suzie!! I loved the Marching Martians and it sounds like it what a wonderful time. I feel like I was such a homebody this weekend, hehe!

I know what you mean about places, Shannon and that is actually a familiar spot - north side of Queen West, near the Black Bull.

I love the colours in the sweater you are working on.

Suzie, that sounds like a great time. I love new discoveries.
