Jamie

On April 11th, I participated in the first ever International Soul Art Day by traveling to Laura Hollick's studio and participating in 24 hours of art-making! I'm posting this ahead of time because chances are I'll be sleeping. I'll share more details soon!

I forgot to take my camera out to the movies with me last night darn it! Shannon, Lockout was cheesy and fun, thank you for the tickets! Totally a fun night out.

So the photo I am sharing is of the skull buttons I have created for my future chef's jacket which I am having made through a fellow Etsy friend. I had to do the resin coating yesterday so they would be completely ready to be mailed tomorrow. You can also see a butterfly gumdrop surrounded by copper glitter there too. I even tried resin-ing a candy lime slice!

Jamie, did you spent 24 hours at her studio?! Yes, get lots of sleep and can't wait to hear more.

Shannon, that is an adorable and cute photo, I love it.

Yes, I was live in studio with Laura from 7:00 am yesterday (I was up at 5:30) and am just coming home and catching a nap today at 10:00 am.

You can see a little bit of what it was like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-LvLldih7U

And it looks like I wasn't the only one being creative. Your skulls look awesome! That sounds weird, doesn't it.

And, lol, Shannon, what a great shot of your squirrel!

Jamie, wow, you are in the video! Already! And looking fabulous. I love that you feel protective of your white space. Wild animal energy is awesome. Love it!

Thank you! They were challenging to make. We lost power on Easter and the house was so cold for so long that they got all sticky and I got all panicky. But I made it work and putting them in the mail to my "designer" tomorrow, LOL. Listen to me, I'm getting more girly girl every day!
