Jamie

I am back from France! It's been the weirdest thing to not blog through the experience. Now I'm a bit overwhelmed with how to share the journey. I'm so used to just bringing everyone along! Our first day of travel was very challenging with a delay in our flight, turbulence bringing out my fear of flying and landing to 6-degree pouring rain in Paris. It was overwhelming and difficult until we arrived at our Parisian Paradise - this apartment. The moment we walked in, we knew it was all worthwhile.

Suzie

Introducing my crocheted zombie bunny. It is the only photograph I remember taking yesterday. I personally adore him although I am sure others will find him quite weird.

Oh, my, count me in the adore crowd!! Absolutely wonderful, Suzie.

Did you follow a pattern? I have yet to be able to figure out a crochet pattern unless accompanied by video!

Awesome Zombie Bunny!

Jamie, I can't imagine all that stress. And then to end up in that palatial hotel room! Oh the importance and power of beauty. I do wish we could have watched your journey as it happened but I love seeing whatever you want to share now that you are safe and at home.

Thank you both for liking my zombie bunny! I've been feeling quite alien lately, for liking this kind of thing, so your happy response to my little bunny zombie makes me so happy. I'm glad I am not the only one who thinks he's cute. BTW, I can't embroider a straight line if my life depended on it so it's a good thing I like weird stuff!

Forgotten to say that this one was from YouTube but I have made a cupcake and cookie from simple patterns but it is tough! Trying to get used to just crocheting little easy things but even that is tough!

I would think easy crocheting is more like... a scarf ... little figures feels way advanced to m!

Me too! I think you're working some super-amazing stuff, Suzie! You're rocking the crochet.

I made about a million granny squares before I tried anything else!

True, a scarf would technically be easier but I have very little yarn so small crafting projects work better for me for now. I totally forgot how to do a magic ring last night to make alien eyes, LOL.

Thank you so much! :) Seriously, that helps a lot. I've been getting so frustrated. I am going to try making an applique strawberry soon to put on a t-shirt of mine. I don't know if you're supposed to do that but I am going to try.

Here is an example, I love these little projects:
