Jamie

Yesterday Justin and I had the treat of wandering through Kensington Market as we did groceries for Mom. There's always something to look experience and explore in this pocket of Toronto. It's hard to see but this community centre was full of what looked like huge, colourful puppet heads. Of course, I had to pull out my camera.

I know this probably looks like nothing that interesting but for me it represents a HUGE sense of accomplishment as I recently just got through a HUGE backlog of reviews after a few delays including being sick for a huge chunk of January. But I am now officially up to date and I plan on enjoying it as much as I can! Victory Dance!!

Yesterday I decided I was finally going to do it, I dyed my own hair for the first time! The highlighted area really picked up on the red from the "Dark Warm Brown" colour which was perfect, exactly what I wanted to have happen. Thanks Jamie for letting me know about L'Oreal's Healthy Look product, it was so easy to follow!

So glad my hair didn't turn green, LOL.

There are so many fears right now that I can't deal with that tackling small ones like this on my own gives me some sense of personal accomplishment.

I love getting to see Toronto through your lens Jamie! And Kensington is so fascinating a place to visit.

Shannon, that is major! Seriously, you must feel so much better now that you are caught up.

Thanks for all the times you did my hair colour Jamie and for the highlights which are still shining but now they are all rusty red!

Suzie! I totally love the way that your hair turned out. Those highlights ROCK! (And btw, you totally have to keep using that conditioner every week or so)

You're looking awesome!

Wow, that's totally wild to see Kensington through your eyes Jamie! I go so often yet I can't quite place where that it, who knew?

I love your new hair Suzie! It looks totally awesome!! Way to go for doing it yourself, I had no idea it was the first time.

And thanks for the cheers and joining in on the victory dance of my 'done's' :)

Thanks Jamie! I owe a lot of it to you, you did a great job on the highlights and now they're all shiny again. :) Good to know about that condition, thanks and will do! Aww... shucks. Thank you. I decided to start making videos and if I do that, I had to do something to my hair so now I have more confidence.

Thank you Shannon! So silly I was a hair-dyeing-scaredy-cat for so long.

Big time victory dance Shannon, it's huge news! I know how many movies you see and have been watching the review scroll down Google Reader, incredible!
