The sun was shining and I was out and about yesterday. I had so much fun walking down Bloor Street with my camera, particularly taking photos with reflections, like this one.

Dreamboards for the month, although I didn't have a big piece of bristol board this month I made a few little-er dreamboards and sometimes used the actual page/envelop/magazine page it came from as the actual backbone. Although colour wise very different, they all seem to have a similar theme.

Yesterday there were two major events. Number 1: I left the house on my own to go to the corner store at 7 am to pick up milk. Since I got pneumonia, I have been stuck inside dependent on others, it was very liberating. Number 2: I finally used Ice Resin for the first time. I totally love the idea of working with it but it scares me. And yes, that is an eyeball sinking to the bottom of a skull mold. This makes me very happy.

Suzie, I'm glad you got outside. There's something liberating about the fresh air and our own feet. And I love the Ice Resin! I knew immediately that was a skull, hehe.
What is that Jamie?! Is that a tractor or something? Is that part of the sculpture? Wild! You never know what you are going to see in Toronto, I miss that.
I see a lot of serene-ness in your dreamboards with the glam, interesting! Fabulous collages as usual Shannon and I like that your did more than one. I've done mini boards and they're fun.
Yay! Glad you could tell it was a skull Jamie, woot! I bought more latex gloves so I can finish them up today, although they take 3 days to cure!
It's a toy bulldozer that's a part of a window display for a fancy jewellery story. All the buildings are the reflection of what's across the street. The light was so lovely yesterday!
You're so right - you never know what you'll see - and be able to photograph! Before that I saw big lights and a street filmed with trucks for a shoot that was going on. There was an amazing series of Russian posters in front of the Royal Conservatory and I just assumed at first they were for a show that was coming up and then put two and two together and realized they were probably for a film or a TV show!
