Jamie

Mondays are my heavy client days and also when I lead Circe's Circle. I've been trying to get in the habit of much earlier mornings so that I can do some writing and some meditation before diving in. What I wish I had taken a picture of yesterday was the corn fritters we made, inspired by Gordon Ramsay's new cooking school show. Special thank you to Suzie for letting me know that you use 100 grams of flour. We made a mess of the kitchen and were clearly winging it with the recipe and though the fritters were only "okay" I think when we refine our approach they will be wonderful. Looking forward to trying them again!

Suzie

I did it! I made it to the dollar store yesterday! As you can see I really bundled up to get there. I had to. I woke up at 3 am with this idea that would not leave me alone. So I went to the dollar store and picked up those cardboard artist canvasses. I feel much better now. OMG, if I knew how I looked before I left the house, I might never leave, LOL.

That is one long day Jamie! And I am so glad you like the show. Would you like me to take a photo of the recipe and send it to you? That might help?!

Yay you for letting inspiration lead you - even if it led you to the cold outdoors! Can't wait to see what you're up to!

Absolutely! That would be great to have the recipe.

Looks like busy days all around yesterday!

I love the pic yesterday Jamie, and I love how you can feel that it's winter in a soft way. Totally cool. Sounds like the fritters were a messy adventure, and I love that even though they weren't awesome you sound like you'll try them again. Cool!

YAY for getting out to the dollar store Suzie (I was at one too yesterday!) and it's awesome that you had something really speaking to you wanting to get out there. I hope the endeavour goes well!
