Jamie

Shannon and I were out and about for the day yesterday, which ended up including an impromptu trip to IKEA! There were good finds, good company and a surprisingly good lunch!

I totally feel in love with this wee sofabed/couch at IKEA! It reminded me of the one I had that was Justin's and was so perfectly Shannon sized. I forgot how often stuff *isn't* Shannon sized! It's so nice to find stuff that fits, maybe one day I'll even get it!

Suzie

Other than picking up weekend food and a ton of medication, yesterday was all about making my puff pastry video. I am definitely pushing my computer to its movie-making limits but I managed to trim down over an hour of footage to a 10-minute video. Still needs finessing but I am happier with it than I thought I would be.

I told Justin about it and he said, 'The space couch!" and I'd totally forgotten we'd called it that, LOL. Here's to Shannon-sizing!

omg YES the Space Couch! I love that I could literally carry it on my shoulder with almost no effort. Well, once I got it up there. It was so much fun to go to Ikea together! Now that's making the most of a day that was a little crazy to start with.

Why is a space couch?! I love that it's Shannon sized, is that how it got its name? LOL. Wow, IKEA, I can't remember the last time I went to one. The last two places I have lived didn't have one, nicely done!

Late add for me. With it being the long weekend... I don't know how much posting I am going to be able to do but I got one up today!

I can't wait to see your puff pastry video Suzie! And yes it totally does tax the computer in a different way to do all the video stuff, I know that for sure but your vids are amazing so I hope you like the result. :)

Wow, that's amazing Suzie!! It sounds like an incredibly intensive experience - both in the kitchen and in the movie studio! I'm glad you'll have a record of all the work you put in!

I can't wait to share it! Gave myself a day to muse it over. Sure my computer is grateful, LOL. I am so glad I did it. Totally a once in a lifetime experience.
