Jamie

Not a terribly good picture of what was actually a terribly good meal! Jerk chicken, sweet potato latkes and papay salad. I think we said, "Mmmm..." with every bite! It was a beautiful, long day of good, good work and so wonderful to finish it off with a delicious dinner.

Okay...so I meant to have broccoli and something for dinner...but I ended up with mini farmer plate.  I think my meals are a bit off kilter these days!

Suzie

For this photo yesterday there was no point saying cheese. Say "buttah!" instead! Yup, worked on the puff pastry video all day yesterday and I am still not done. It has been an interesting journey so far, filled with drama, decisions, stress and oh so much butter.

Wow, a totally food-inspired day! I love synchronicity!

Farmer's plates are truly one of my favourite meals. What happened to your broccoli?

Wow, Suzie, that's awesome. It's fascinating how a recipe turns into a story!

Haha, we are foodie-licous trio today!!! Who would have thought? And oh my Jamie that looks absolutely delightful jerk chicken dinner, I'd take that over a farmer's plate anyday! Might you have farmer's plates very often :)

I have no idea what happened to my broccoli! I still have it, I just forgot...to eat it. And to cook it, lol.

I can't wait to see how your puff pastry adventure turns out Suzie! From that image I would say probably well! Or at least exciting!

Oh man, totally loving all the food going on there. Jamie, that looks so good. What exactly is a farmer's plate Shannon? I do the same thing with broccoli, I forget about it all the time. I make broccoli in oyster sauce now so I don't forget, it's a great side dish for an Asian meal. Oh yes, puff pastry adventure indeed! OMG, I had no idea it was going to be THIS challenging.

Hmm.. now I'm trying to figure out what makes a farmer's plate, a farmer's plate. Pretty much a little bit of this and a little bit of that... I usually do lots of veggies and then some carb (crispbreads, bread) and a protein (cheese, hummus, PB). It's totally the kind of thing you'd have a pickle on the side with...although I've not had pickles in years.
