Jamie

I still remember how immediately I knew that I was going to like Sabine. She's smart, sincere, stylish and a lot of fun. When I look back on my Project 365, I realize we've been friends for years now and I feel so blessed. Every time we get together, there's so much to talk about, to think about, to laugh about, to be heart-to-heart about. I adore you, Sabine!

Last night was the 32nd Genie Awards, celebrating achievement in Canadian film. During the 1 hour television broadcast of the awards, Viggo Mortensen picked up the award for PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE / INTERPRÉTATION MASCULINE DANS UN RÔLE DE SOUTIEN for his role as Sigmund Freud in A Dangerous Method. And although he isn't Canadian himself, he certainly has the Canadian spirit - so much so that he wrapped his Genie in a Montreal Canadiens flag. Now that's style.

I had one of the best days yesterday. It was beautiful (although for me, still chilly) so I went out for a walk and got errands done. Then Reg came home with this bouquet of flowers to honour me for International Women's Day. It is one of the most deeply romantic things he has ever done for me, honouring my feminist side and me as a woman... meant the world to me. And I had fun crafting too. Awesome day.

I feel like I know Sabine, you mention her so often Jamie! She really has been a good friend and it is so lovely to see her. What a cozy place that is you're hanging out.

Shannon, OK, how can Viggo get anymore perfect and amazing? I think he just became an honorary Canadian!

Wow, that Viggo knew what he was doing with the whole Canadian hockey thing, that's for sure! Smooth move, mister!!

And here's another guy who really knows what he's doing - Mr. Reg!! Wow, what a gorgeous "full of life" bouquet and how truly, deeply romantic for him to honour you on International Women's Day. That is so very special. What a wonderful man.

Sabine really is a good friend and we have such a great time together. Last night we tried a brand new Mexican restaurant in our neighbourhood. One of the highlights? A Margarita sampler!

I LOVE samplers! There are few things I enjoy more. A treat to have a little something for everyone. We are totally going to have to go to that restaurant when I am in town Jamie. :)
