Jamie

Lately I've been feeling inspired by video. I created a Jamie Ridler Studios YouTube channel. I also had a lot of fun making another Creative Living video. (I haven't shared it yet but you can see it here). Though I called it a Quick Tip really it's more of a mini workshop since we do the exercise together right on the video. I just loved what showed up when I turned the radio on!

I love that there are so many film choices in this city - like getting a chance to see the Hong Kong/China historically set action/mystery film Let the Bullets Fly with Chow Yun-Fat and Ge You. Actually Ge You is totally the lead and I can't figure out what I know him from, lovely calm presence and a gorgeous voice. The film was long and exuberantly convoluted, but that just make it more fun.

I was convinced that I would have nothing to share from yesterday. I was busy doing housework and trying to de-dust the bedroom but I did accomplish one cool thing. I took a "final" photo of my reversible Vincent Price pendant. After the whole soldering issue, I just haven't been feeling crafty. So I decided to focus (literally) on something I have accomplished which is this pendant. I worked so hard on it and a long, long time. And... I am totally in love with it so... yay Suzie!

What a treat, Shannon! You know, when I first saw your photo, I actually thought it was a framed pic at your place!

Jamie, I LOVED the video and it's so funny, at first I thought you were in my kitchen, with that cupboard window behind you, LOL. Love the story, loved everything and can't wait to see what you come up with for YouTube.

Shannon, I have noticed more and more historical Chinese movies on Netflix, fascinating and you are so lucky you have the opportunity to see them when they come out!
