Jamie

The Studio Refresh has jumbled up our whole house. I remember when I worked on The Cubby the same thing happened. It's like dominoes; you move one thing, everything shifts. With all the work and all the wobble, Justin and I decided to go out for dinner last night. We headed out to The Duke despite the cold and warnings of snow squalls for a relaxed night of chatting and figuring out what we're going to do for our anniversary this weekend! The minute we sat down, this coaster caught my eye. I'm going to take the message to heart.

Well Hexed came to a halt when the lights went out. Thankfully my breadmaker was in rest/proof mode when it happened so we still had dinner which was surprisingly awesome. Buffalo Chicken "Garbage" Bread. I've seen it all over Pinterest and can tell people are curious and so I made a healthy dough to make it a little less sinful. I will be writing about it on my blog today. Overall though, I spent the day napping on the couch then talking to Mom.

Oh! I'm glad that turned out despite the power loss. That's always so unnerving. I'm so curious to hear about this recipe. I'll have to go check out your post.

I'm glad you got some rest and some time to chat with Mom.

Oh I wonder what venturing off the beaten path will mean for you Jamie! And what you and Justin will do for your anniversary. Nice!

Thanks Jamie. The power outage made me realize that a lot of what I do depends on power, even crafting. It was so dark yesterday I couldn't even read. So I went into energy-save mode, LOL.
