Jamie

I am thrilled to say that yesterday I had an appointment with someone I think can really support me through the grief and all the processing there is to do with Mom's passing. It feels like such a relief. And one treat was that going there took me right past one of my favourite places I ever lived. This building is so wonderful and I lived in both the right-hand half-basement apartment and the main floor left-hand apartment. What finds. I'm so thankful for the time I lived there.

Shannon

My DIY Shark Week continued with Bait!  This Australia/Singapore co-pro really got me and I really enjoyed it, but because it's like in part a great shark film and in part a bit of a b-movie,but not really, it's a little hard to know who to recommended it to.  But, I don't have to worry about that if I don't want to as I liked it, and today that's enough.

Suzie

We had ordered a dishwasher from The Brick and then they called to tell us that to deliver to us would be more money because we are not in the city and then that they do not install dishwashers at all because of where we live. So, we cancelled the order.

Yesterday we drove into the city to Sears, found a good dishwasher on sale that fits under our counter, found out they will deliver to our area (not extra) and they will install the dishwasher. Another dishwasher bought.

Ugh! Three days of our holidays completely dedicated to the dishwasher makes me not happy. We also picked up painting supplies. I need a vacation from our vacation!

What a hassle. I'm so glad that you were able to work it out - and get a deal!

This must be so exhausting, especially after all we've been through. When are you guys hoping to put the house up for sale?

GAH! I was moments from being on time. Late add for me.

I'm thrilled to hear you met with someone that can support you Jamie, it's so challenging and I think having the support will make a big difference. I sure hope it does! And getting to go by your old place is a total treat, I have lots of good memories from there :)

Oh my Suzie, I am so sorry to hear of all your dishwasher troubles That is strange they wouldn't install it because of where you live... totally bizzare. I am glad you found one that will work for you and someone to install it.

That's awesome you enjoyed Bait, Shannon. I don't know where I heard about it but I seem to have impressions of it being pretty good too! I love the whole idea of a DIY Shark Week. I wonder what else will be on your list!

It was pretty good, and it was a lot of fun to watch a film I didn't really know much about. So far the 2 Aussie films are taking the cake for DIY Shark Week!

Jamie, I am thrilled for you that you found someone who can help and it takes you back to such a happy place. That sounds perfect to me.

Shannon, don't worry about sharing photos of sharks. I do like them, I am just not going in the water. They found a great white in Lunenburg that grabbed the line, went under the boat a la Jaws, LOL. Still, they are amazing and I'm glad you liked the movie.

Yes, we are exhausted, frustrated and angry right now about so much. Reg and I have both been feeling sick to our stomach, it's all so much to deal with and expensive. It's just too much right now and Reg is at his limit. Ugh.
