Jamie

LOL, I haven't been able to flip this photo! It's funny because we actually had this great day yesterday with Shannon coming over and making jerk chicken in the crockpot and blueberry crisp and hanging out and... no pictures! What I can tell you is that I've started reading this wonderfully inspiring book from Dolly Parton (Thanks, Shannon!). Her main encouragement is to dream more, learn more, care more and be more. It's hitting lots of just right notes for me right now in a simple, loving way.

Suzie

Rough day yesterday so the highlight was waiting for the bus and seeing that they are turning this area into a little parkland! And they added a "no smoking" notice inside the bus shelter which is awesome. Wow, I have really started to freckle! So weird!

I'm sorry it was a rough day, Suzie! That's great news though that they're making some improvements. It's always good when there's more parkland :)

Wow, first the Alan Arkin book and now this! I hope they have them at my library, I love the sound of it and Dolly is a sweetheart. So glad you two could get together yesterday and that food sounds amazing! Jamie, I thought you bought the jerk chicken, so impressive you made it. Totally making that blueberry crisp, thank you so much for the recipe! Where did it come from?

The Alan Arkin book absolutely rocked. I actually got the audio recording from the library so I got to hear this great actor tell his own story. Very awesome.

I love Dolly though you might be a bit turned off by some of the God stuff, Suzie.

I feel badly that I don't have a reference for that recipe. Usually I put the link on the recipe itself but this time I didn't. I hope you enjoy it!

Oh I love his voice! That would be awesome. You're right about Dolly, I would have issues, thanks for letting me know.

OK, I'll just say it's "Jamie's recipe" which is just fine, thanks Jamie!

Stubborn pictures not turning, I've had issue with that to as of late - and often with books! How odd! But not odd, I'm glad you are enjoying the book Jamie and I certainly enjoyed the Jerk Chicken! So yummy, and I'm so grateful to have been able to come over and 'connect' hehe.

So awesome that they put up a no smoking sign and are adding parkland to the bus stop Suzie! It must be exciting to see changes in motion.
