Jamie

Here's the core kit for Project Life that I talked about when we were recording stART. It's still giving me a lot to think about in terms of creativity, expression, design, packaging, ease, comfort... all sorts of things about creative living. I had no idea that it would give me so much to think about - as well as being quite lovely :)

Shannon

Even with so much new TV on I somehow managed to finished up Season 4 of The Deadliest Catch (I'm still working to seeing up to and including S7 by April this year for the new season). I still have the extras to watch, and I'm really looking forward to that as 5 are listed on the DVD packaging, and most of the earlier seasons are pretty no frills. So here's to frilly extras, hehe!

Suzie

These are all the things I molded! Yesterday I tried removing the Alpha Bits and they all disintegrated which sucks because F and Es are next to impossible to find in a box of Alpha Bits. I'm actually considering writing the company and asking why. Next step is heat curing them and then resining them!

Shannon, when I saw a bit of the Deadliest Catch at your place, I could see why it would be compelling. Wow, those waves - a great reminder of my deep-seated feeling that deep water is not for me! Maybe I was a fisherman in a past life :)

Suzie, I love that little vignette of the things you are creating. It's such a wonderful picture of you.

It would be fascinating to hear from the company about how they choose their letters!

Jamie, I think it's a fascinating process and you know, I can see you loving your own style of scrapbooking using this kit and program. It's all about design, which I know you love. And memories! i can't wait to see what you do with it.

Shannon, you just reminded me I can officially start watching that show now. I am glad you had a TV day and are watching that compelling show. Jamie, that would explain a lot!

Thank you! I love creating. I don't know why but I love making stuff and playing with my hands and ideas. And testing stuff. Testing stuff is the best!

Oh weird, it's asking for word verification. I'll try and turn that off.

Wow, it was a creative day all around for both of you!

Jamie, I love the core kit - so pretty and it must be grfeat to have stuff that easily fits in the pockets of Project Life goodness.

Is that molded versions Suzie, or the items you molded? What an amazing array of things. I love the little platter (or mirror?), that's totally cool! Kinda sucky about the letters, any way you could mold them from clay or something? I know having the things stick out is always harder to mold. I think it's awesome you are charging away at your crafting!

I hope you enjoy The Deadliest Catch Suzie, and that's great you can start watching it :) I hope watching the snippit wasn't too scary Jamie!

I'm finding it fascinating! And it's bringing up all sorts of things to think about for me personally, philosophically, creatively. I had no idea what Project Life would open up!

And yes, I've thought about the fisherman story for me many times. It really makes a lot of sense. I love the sea, the wind, the freedom - and I'm absolutely terrified out there.

I just giggled when you said - "Testing stuff is the best." That's so you! Love it!

LOL, Shannon, I think we were leaving our comments at the same time. It was great to watch a bit of the show. I am in AWE of the ocean. I can only imagine what it takes to make that environment your workplace!

Yeah, I really like the design of this particular core kit. The design is simple and lovely, with those clean lines I love :) It's going to be so fun to play with it! Maybe it will get me started :)

Sounds like Project Life is already expanding your life and mind in so many ways Jamie!

Those are the things I molded, before I molded them Shannon. That platter (great idea!) is like a frame for a photo or something but I like the platter idea.

Jamie, when we go back west, I promise, no boats! Although you might enjoy the ferry.
