Jamie

It's quite a setup I now have at the kitchen table! I'm excited about getting the art stuff down here in the cedar chest aka Tickle Trunk and to getting everything else back up into the studio! I'm proud of myself that for the second Sunday in a row, I have sat down and let myself do some painting. Life Book is creating a great structure for that, giving me a specific project to work.

Shannon

This weekend I knew that I needed to take it easy. One way to do that, is to watch an entire TV season, which is what I did with Burn Notice Season 1. Although I had seen 2 of the episodes already, I watched them again. Now I have the guy's voice in my head and feel, which I think is translating to the tone of this blurb. Hah. Oh, except that last big, he never laughs in the voice over. I'm very much looking forward to watching S2, I hope it's waiting for me this week at the library.

Me & Jen

Suzie

I finally got out of the house this weekend with my friend Jen. She helped me get some errands done and we went to Kelly's favourite restaurant, Moxies. She's going through a tough time right now and we wanted her to know we were with her in spirit supporting her. And the sticky toffee pudding is divine.

Last post from me, sorry about that!

Jamie, that totally looks like a station command center, I love it. Yay to painting!

Shannon, Mom loves that show too, I really want to watch it. I should see what the lineup is at my library for it. Nice choice and good for you for resting like that!

Hehe, I hope you mean late post, Suzie :)

Yay to having a whole show to enjoy while you're taking it easy. Arctic Air was our big treat over our sickies this holiday. It's great knowing that there's always another episode - at least for a while.

That sounds like a delicious outing, Suzie! And lol, Justin totally calls how I set things up the Command Center! No matter where I am stationed - the studio, the kitchen table, the couch - I always seem to create this environment around me :)

Oh man, yes, late post from me! I'm stilling recovering from the worst wave of insomnia I have had since I was a kid. As a result, I did get sleep today but am still extra foggy.

We watched Community during our sick spell on the holidays, whatever works! I do like the main actor from Burn Notice so I have been interested in that show for a while.

I love that you always have a command center wherever you are Jamie, that is so cool!

I'm sorry about the insomnia, Suzie. I hope you get some rest soon.

And yep, I'm going to have to start saying, "Engage" soon. ;)

I love how you have covered every single inch of the table Jamie! Now that's the way to claim a space :) And I'm thrilled to hear you got some painting done for 2 Sundays in a row - woohoo!!!

YAY to getting out and enjoying some friend time, and friend time in spirit, Suzie! And with Sticky Toffee Pudding.. that's a great way to spend friend time :)

I'm shocked you haven't watched Burn Notice Suzie! I mean... it's about a spy! And he's very explain-y on stuff, and pretty dry which I find funny but I'm not sure if it's meant to be, lol. I think you'd really like it. My library has 5 seasons, and the 6th is on TV atm.
