Jamie

I had quite an amazing weekend on a virtual retreat with Susan Piver as a part of the Open Heart Practitioner program. It started Friday night at 7:00 and went until Sunday afternoon. There was lots of meditation, writing, resting and relaxation. It was an amazing period of time to spend primarily with my self, in my own mind. There was something about it that helped me separate from my own "ways" and be open instead to what's in my own heart. I'm so glad I took part.

I jumped back on the Bondathon bus this weekend and watched Moonraker. I had scheduled out the Bondathon for this one to show up specifically on my birthday weekend, which has long since passed. I don't know if I can get through them all, I've had lots of blocks on restarting (including this particular DVD not wanting to play, and looking all pixalated!) but I decided to just go for it. The only certainly of not being able to do it, is to stop watching. So I'm watching.

We had one of the nastiest, wettest weekends ever! I still managed to get out for lunch and shopping with some friends. Reg and I also visited Lorraine. We also went to see Looper which was pretty good. Nice to see an original idea at the movies and I love Bruce Willis. Quite a busy weekend so I'm just a little tired and worn out from all the busy-ness.

Wow, that Bondathon is really making you work for it, Shannon! I wonder what ones you'll end up liking.

That's a great life lesson: the only certainty of not being able to do it is [deciding not to do it], hehe. Yessiree.

Wow, that weather looks pretty miserable, Suzie. Going to the movies seems like such a nice thing to day on a day like that. I've been curious about Looper. We haven't been to a movie in ages! Maybe we'll give it a go.

I hope you get some rest today :)

Sounds like it was an enlightening weekend Jamie! What an interesting practice, it's fascinating to hear about. I'm was going to say I wonder what it would be like to do, but I don't quite know if I could. Hmmm. Brain it thinking. Hmmm.

Wow! Way for braving the weather Suzie! That does look pretty miserable. I wonder what Arirang means,... I saw a film called that and the guy sang the word a lot, but I still don't know! Glad you enjoyed Looper, it looks pretty fun.

What a fascinating idea! So it's an online/at home retreat? So cool!

Shannon, I remember liking that Bond movie. What a bummer about it giving you issues though.

We had rain warnings, it was so bad. I'm glad I got some stuff done like picked up socks and stuff for my Hal-Con costume which I have to get working on.

Looper was quite good Jamie, very violent though and thanks. I intend to rest all afternoon if I can.

Shannon, apparently people sing that word in Korea as a means of celebrating. I think.
