Jamie

Tried a new recipe last night - Canadian Living's Leek & Potato Soup. I had to use Beef Broth which turned it the colour of gravy (and truthfully made it taste a little like gravy too!) but it was delicious! A very creamy soup for a soup that has no cream or milk in it at all! I love trying out new recipes now and again. This one's a keeper.

Shannon

I had a nice relaxing farmers lunch yesterday.  I often have this combo fo food during lunch and afternoon, but yesterday I decided to set it out and really savour it, which was much nicer experience!

It seems to be high tech week for me! I did an interview with Recipe to Riches contender Jay Keary yesterday. We had some tech issues and there is a little echo from me on his computer but I am happy with how it went. My stomach wasn't as much in knots as it usually is. Could this mean I am actually getting used to doing interviews?!

Lol, all of our posts are food-inspired today!

Shannon, yum! That's absolutely one of my favourite kinds of lunches. It looks delish and totally worth savouring. :)

That's awesome, Suzie! It sounds like you are getting more used to the interviews - and the tech too. WTG! Can't wait to watch :)

Isn't that interesting about the beef broth's impact on the colour of the soup Jamie and yes, we were all focused on food yesterday!

Shannon, not rushing and enjoying food is a joy and savouring... wonderful. Nicely done!

Was up at 4 am working on the interview, it's done now. OMG, this is going to be the longest week ever if I don't start getting sleep.

I'm so glad you found a great Leek and Potato Soup recipe Jamie! That's one of my favourite soups ever! Three cheers for it being a keeper.

And way to go Suzie on doing an interview and being less knotty! That's HUGE! Can't wait to watch it.
