Jamie

I have been getting into the habit of writing my morning pages and doing my meditation out on the deck. I continue to enjoy watching the birds - though there haven't been as many as when you were here, Suzie! Yesterday I even saw a cardinal. Yay! I'm so thankful we were able to do our backyard reno. It really has made all the difference this summer.

Shannon

It's good that The Olympics are during the day here as it leaves me still time to see my night shows, and it was a total treat to get to see The Deadliest Catch - After the Catch episode last night where the Captains chat all about the season. The show really drew me in as I watched all summer long religiously (and GetGlue agrees, awarding me the sticker above as a fan!). I am still not quite sure what it was that drew me in, but I was definitely caught. Totally irresistible!

Suzie

Yesterday Reg and I had to go to this tailor-type shop for his uniform and I asked if they sold chef jackets. And they do! Not only that, they have one in their computer that is shaped for women and they do embroidery. All of a sudden I could see me wearing one with "Suzie the Foodie" embroidered on it. Love it! I have to wait until I have the money but I think I might do it. Made up for me hurting my shoulder walking home in the rain yesterday. Well, almost. Shoulder injuries take forever to heal!

That's so cool that you're a deckhand. Whoop! Whoop! It's amazing how much that show has you... um... hooked. Couldn't resist ;)

I love that you're hanging out on your deck doing morning pages Jamie, that is awesome! Although isn't that funny about the birds. You know, I haven't seen a cardinal since I left Ontario. I miss them.

Shannon, I love that you got wrapped up in Deadliest Catch and that you got the sticker to prove it. Deckhand indeed! It's funny how that happens. I have been watching Shipping Wars and it got me too.

That's so awesome that you are doing your MPs outside Jamie! What a lovely way to connect and to enjoy your lovely deck.

Suzie I'm so excited for you to have a Suzie the Foodie chef jacket, and ladies sized to boot! I feel like a few places finally 'got it' that most items of clothes should be for men and women!

And it's really funny that the Deadliest Catch sticker is a Deckhand, I wonder if they have a Greenhorn one - that's for the newbie-noobs! I have proved my fandom! RAWR.

Suzie, that's awesome! I can already see you in the jacket. I love it when the things we want cross our path like that!

Thanks Shannon! Yup, this jacket (not photographed) is tailored for the waist and I can get it in black. I couldn't believe it. I went with Reg on a fluke and they had exactly what I have spent months looking for online for the best price I have seen.

You sure have proved your fandom Shannon, you rock!

Yay! Thanks Jamie. :) Reg goes to pick up his items in a week so I am figuring it all out before we go back. So exciting and guess what? My neighbour works there!
