Jamie

Yesterday I made it down the the Beaches again (yay!) and walked by this box of balls. I have really fond memories of these familiar blue, what and red babies so I had to take a picture!

Suzie

Reg and I wanted one day spent in the sun but did not want to go to a crowded beach so we went down to the farmers market instead and hung out on the rooftop. The place was a ghost town. When we got back to the car, this giant mini van blocked us in (hard to tell from the photo what a tight squeeze it was).

Reg had added that text to the car and just as I was taking this photo the owner of the car showed up. You can see Reg walking towards him in the car's reflection. A tense and extremely awkward moment so of course I had to share it. At this moment I thought to myself, yes, this is why we rarely go downtown. Oh well, at least we got some sun and had the roof all to ourselves.

Wow, that's cool that you had the rooftop all to yourselves. What a great alternative to the crowded beach! That's too bad that tension followed. I hope everything worked out all right.

Wow that certainly does look like it was a tight sqeeze - even though non crowded choice people do tend to come out in the nice weather eh?

Awesome find Jamie! I always remember those balls not quite bouncing staight which made catching more...exercise -oriented! I don't remember them having a bar code on them before though, lol!

I love those balls too Jamie! I remember playing with them in Montreal. So retro and awesome!

Thank you both, it was nice to have that rooftop to myself. I sense that there is something wrong going on at the market. We have been hearing that they're in financial trouble and even on Saturday one of the big sections had no vendors in it.

Yes, there was some tension for Reg but that always seems to happen to us. The drivers here are unusually aggressive I'm afraid.
