Jamie

I've been wanting to read this book for years. I felt a bit complicated about it though because one year I put it on my Christmas list and Mom generously just gave me hers. The problem was that I couldn't really read her copy. So I felt kind of stuck for ages but this week I decided to just buy myself a copy and get to it! I think this kind of painting is coming into my life right now and I'm getting ready for it.

Shannon

Deadliest Catch started back up this week with it's 10th season. It's wild that some of the folks have been on the show for all 10 years. And I watched all of those 10 seasons over in just the past couple of years, and it's kind of weird to see 10 years of peoples lives in this way. I am really rooting for a lot of the people on the show to have great seasons and also to learn and prosper. Here's hoping!

It is totally amazing to me that the show has followed people through such an extensive timeline. It's a major portion of a person's life! No wonder you feel so invested in them and what happens to them.

Wow, that just made me think about blogging!

Jamie, I think it's great you got your own copy and I have heard great things about that book! Wow, painting too, you are amazing.

Shannon, you have really been on the Deadliest Catch journey for a while now. I taped the 3 hours that was on this week, did that mean I got the new season from the beginning?

Oh and sorry, my life is so boring and blah. No photo from me today. Still trying to shake off the real estate blues of this week.

I'm so glad you found your way to this book Jamie and just bought it. It can be so weird when we are in that awkward place, but it sound like it's the right time to step out into somewhere new - woohoo!

It's true! I feel very strongly about the people on the show, especially anyone that's been on for all 10 seasons. It is a bit like blogging - we'll probably all this the 10 year mark at some point I wonder what *that* will be like!!

Suzie - if it was 3 hours in 1 night then yes you probably got everything. They had a 2 hour season opener, but it was preceded by a 1 hour show called "The Bait", where they talk about what is to come. I usually watch that after the show, or after the whole season as it can be spoilery.

They did also have a 2 hour special on Sunday night that summed up the previous season, which I loved but if you didn't watch last year I don't know how interesting it would be. I really hope you enjoy the show!

Shannon, I have cued up the show to go into the 3rd hour and am looking forward to watching, thank you so much for the heads up. I watched that show last time and it was full of spoilers.

I don't know if you've watched it yet Suzie, but I would likely cue it to the 2nd (of 3) hours. It started with a 1 hour special, then had a 2 hour premiere.

I didn't love (and didn't always watch) The Bait last year, but this year I LOVED it. I was totally giggling through a lot of it. But... I was also lying on the floor which always make me more succeptable to that, heheh! I hope you like it!

LOL, I figured that out last night when I started watching it. What an epic episode and tonight they're showing three!

Amazing how The Bait has improved in just one season. Totally got to check that out.
