  Jamie

Adventures with the interloper continue. We're exploring the possibilities of his coming inside. I loved how he parked himself in a great spot for observing the situation. It's an amazing journey and I'm seeing the same lessons for me that I learned with Lilly the black horse in Sedona, particularly around my instinct to want to "make" something happen instead of let something happen. I'm trying to just, well, open the door.

I'm a few weeks into my Star Trek: The Next Generation re-watch and was sooooo excited that they just show the episode with The Binars, I totally forgot what the story was but I love the race; definitely one of the weirder ones they've had on the series. Watching was a great way to relax after a challenging day.

After one of the longest days of my life, I just couldn't stand seeing the wallpaper on our computer of an image of a bridge in out old neighbourhood in Victoria anymore. It represented a path Reg and I officially can no longer get to ever again.

So we choose an image of Vancouver instead. Time to focus on what is possible and stop fighting a dead dream.

It sounds like yesterday was quite a challenging day all around. Shannon I'm glad Star Trek offered up The Binars! I wonder if you could find any relationship between the episode of the day and the day, like an episode of TNG is a tarot card! LOL, don't ask me where I got that idea!

And here's to Vancouver dreams, Suzie. I think of you every time I hear that the prices are starting to lower. I'm wishing you both all the very best and believing in you too. Here's to a happier future. ((hugs))

I love it, you are literally opening the door, aren't you Jamie?! Yes, let go of control and see what happens. I know it's hard but you're doing great.

Wow, I can hardly remember that episode of TNG Shannon but I am glad it was a good episode to hang watching after a long day.

Thanks Jamie. I hope there is a way for us to do well out in the Vancouver area and thank you for believing it with us. It's weird. It's like back to the future or something but I'm OK with that. Better it be closer ahead of me than behind me. :)

omg Jamie that picture of The Interloper is so cute! I loved it! And wow, what a way to shift the thinking, from instead of making something happen, let something happen. That must be challenging - you are quite the 'make something happen' kinda person!

Suzie, wow, that's big news and a brave step to start looking in the direction on what will be over what was. Way to go!

OMG, I love the idea of looking at Star Trek as tarot cards. I would have to say this one would definitely have to be either a 2 or maybe a 4, Maybe the 4 of Wands as the Binars almost fall down, go boom. Star Trek tarot, nwo that would be cool. It was the perfect episode for me, I remembered enough to enjoy it nostalgically, but also didn't remember enough so that I enjoyed revisiting the story.
