Jamie

This little vignette represents some great challenges and some great joy. Circe's Circle started yesterday and the group is full of life and brilliance. I'm absolutely delighted with the magical start we've made. And I'm particularly proud that I managed to make it while my computer was in crisis! Luckily I'd printed up some info and had Shannon's old computer as backup (and in fact I'm working on it now) and I'm really nervous that my beautiful computer that holds so much of my life and work in it may be done. Justin's doing the best he can to resuscitate but we both estimate there's about a 40% chance that it will be okay. Wish us luck!

Shannon

Continuing the Supernatural re-watch with finishing off Season 5, and wow, it's a challenging season. Not as hard as S4 but still pretty heavy. That Kleenex box was not intended to be in the background, but it's definitely appropriate! I'm a day behind my rewatch schedule, which isn't too bad except that more new TV starts this week (Revolution & Hot Set that I'm watching), but I'm still going to keep at it. Sorry for not posting much here recently, been having camera woes but Suzie reminded me that my phone has a camera. Quality isn't the best but at least it's something!

Naked Grape Wines
Suzie

Jamie, I remember you getting a bottle of champagne to celebrate one of your launches. I was thinking of that yesterday and decided to indulge by picking up wine to use for food in honour of my Damn the Man campaign. Later that day a friend of ours donated to my blog! I am choosing to accept that as a positive sign.

YAY for positive signs! That's awesome Suzie, I love when that happens when you start to move in the direction you'd like to go - woohoo!

It's true Shannon, those seasons are so dark and you must feel like you need a bit of a break. It's one of the reasons why I love it when they do a fun episode and lighten the mood for a bit. I think the camera photo is pretty good and am so glad you are using it! I always love your photos.

Usually when I do something like I did with the wine, a huge bill will show up at my door or something so yes, I'm thrilled at the positive sign. Maybe for once I am going in the right direction? That would be nice.

That is the most comment element of my dreams for the last five years. Wandering, not knowing where I am going. Would be nice for that to change!

Yep, I am yaying the positive signs too! Woot-woot!

I'm so curious what the Naked Grape wines are like, Suzie. What do you think?

And Shannon, I love how that Kleenex box snuck in for your little vignette! Yay to the phone photos! I'm so glad that gets you back. ((hugs))

Wow, sounds like you had some challenges yesterday Jamie, but great to hear there were joys too! I'm glad my old computer is being put to good use and I will be thinking good thoughts that the resuscitation of yours goes well@

Oh Jamie, I am so sorry to hear about your computer! Although I am happy to hear about Circe's Circle. It's tough when bad follows good but you got through it.

Naked Grape wines are non-oak aged so it just tastes like what I consider "clean" wine. The chardonnay is perfect for French cooking, makes the best and authentic Bernaise sauce. Not complicated wine but good wine for cooking. The shiraz is still new to me though, I'm hoping it's a good red.
