Jamie

After hanging out with Shannon chatting over awesome food at one of our favourite spots (Suzie, we'll have to go there next time you come!) I was just feeling like I wanted to make something - anything! So I found an online tutorial for making felt flowers, grabbed my scissors, markers, thread, a notepad, surrounding myself with supplies and some PVR'd TV and had a good time just cutting, stitching and doodling. Creating like this really can be a kind of meditation.

Yay! Pineapple's on sale!

Suzie

Yesterday I spent most of the day working on my videos (thank you both for your feedback, I am pondering your words and figuring stuff out) but I did pick up groceries for the weekend. I got a container of pineapple for $2. Figured it had all the good stuff, weighed less and took up less space in my backpack. Food is getting crazy here. Alpen is now $6.19! Totally living off sales right now.

YAY for getting the video done Suzie! That's awesome news, and an awesome deal on the pineapple - what a steal!

Wow, that's an incredible price on pineapple - one of my very favourite treats! I can just taste it now! I wonder if it's on sale here too? ;)

And yay to the video. I think you've done an awesome job!

Love the flowers and doodles Jamie! I totally agree, that's why I love crafting. Such fun relaxed creative time and I'm so impressed with what you created. Love it!

Pineapple is something that is hard for me to live without. It's usually $5 here so I just went for it. I will probably buy more next week too, LOL.

Thank you for the support on the videoing. When I have time to really work on it and have no interruptions, I love doing it.

How awesome you had art time Jamie! Love the flowers and the doodling - the centre of the bottom flower actually reminds me of the drawing!

LOL, it's true that those little French knots look like drawings. In fact, they look a bit like my doodle. Funny!
