Jamie

We went to Cora's to celebrate Mom's birthday. Clearly a wonderful time was had by all!

Weekend Watching: Real Steel (already out) & 2-Headed Shark Attack (out on DVD Tuesday). Also caught up with The Viral Factor in the theatre & Moon Point which is out next Friday - really fun, quirky Canadian comedy. Great set of films! Really lucked out this weekend.

Rinsing Egg Shell
Suzie

I had an unexpected day yesterday. I thought we were going out. Then we were staying home so I started investigating eggshell pendants thanks to this video. Here I am rinsing out the egg shell getting it ready to simmer on the stove. Then the phone rang and we had to dash out of the house which brought on a migraine. Perhaps I am not the most spontaneous person in the world?

It was so great to hang out yesterday, Shannon! And I'm curious; how was Real Steel?

Oh I am envious you all went to Cora's for Mom's birthday! Clearly it was a fantastic day out and thank you so much for sharing the photo.

Shannon, I can't believe Real Steel is already out? Yes, how was it?

That's a lot of switching gears, Suzie! I'm so curious about the eggshell. I love the pic. There seems to be some magic there :)

It was so much fun to hang out for Mom's bday and it I too wish you could have been there Suzie!! And I think you actually are quite spontanious to take off amid egg-washing to follow other plans!

Real Steel came out last week - hope to have it reviewed very soon. I liked it, although it's odd to see Hugh Jackman as not 100% "nice guy!", but he's a good enough actor to pull that off and more. Real human emotional drama relationship story with lots of realness in it, among all the .. ya know.. robot boxing....

Oh I hope so Jamie! That is what I was going for.

Thanks Shannon, I guess I was spontaneous, wasn't I?

I wondered if Hugh was a tad unlikeable in that movie. Realness among the robots... I love it!
