Jamie

I'm surprised how much I've come to love and use my coloured pencils. I've had this set of Prismacolors for as long as I can remember! A while back I took them out and started using them to colour in my doodling and I've never looked back. Now I'm using them in my journal, on my to-do list and even in my mixed media found flowers!

Shannon

Stopped by Indigo and I always love reading all their section title, although I'm not sure how often I see swords in science fiction I still appreciated this one!

Suzie

Reg and I spent the day down at Granville Island with our friend from Halifax who was here before going overseas. It was super sunny and a tad chilly and it turns out a lot of stores are closed on Mondays but we ended up having a great time. It felt like we had a long weekend!

LOL! Shannon, you're so right. Totally entertaining sign, even if it's a little off. :) Thank you for sharing. I'm still smiling at it, LOL!

Suzie, that sounds wonderful. A long weekend feeling is always a treat. And looks like you got great pictures, even if things were closed!

It's so awesome your Prismacolour pencils have been with you so long Jamie, and that you are so attached to them now using them for everything! It's amazing how that can happen :)

I love this picture Suzie, I have no idea what it's for.. a hair salon? A vintage store? It's so lively. I'm glad you have some time to visit with your friend. I wonder why stuff was closed on Mondays, pretty odd. I hope you found some fun stuff to do!

I had a total blast taking pics of the signs in Indigo! I definitely want to get to the bookstore regularly :)

I remember that set of coloured pencils Jamie and how beautiful they are such a big part of your creative life now. :) Sometimes it is good to hold onto things.

Shannon, one of those books is from the series I am reading right now! The Jim Butcher Harry Dresden books. Nice to see it up there. I definitely wouldn't call it sci-fi though, LOL. And yay to trying to make regular trips to the book store!

It was a real treat and yes, had great photo ops and Shannon, I think it was a clothing store but I could be wrong. Mostly artisans in this area like gold smithing, metal smithing, hat-making, silk work… Next time I am down there I will go in.
