Jamie

Ah! Quebec City - tres belle! Even with connecting flights, a tiny propeller plane (19 rows!) and a major chance of rain, we arrived safely, soundly and easily! The city is so very beautiful and everyone was warm and welcoming. In fact, when we arrived we were immediately upgraded to an incredible room - sloped ceiling, wooden beams, feather pillows and a view of the Chateau Frontenac! Cozying up in that room - let the rain fall! (Psst... our hotel is just a little beyond that red-roofed building - so central!)

I totally am in love with this new card I created for Friday Reads, which is a YouTube where people share what they are going to read on the weekend. I tried it once before and it didn't quite work for me, but now I've realized that if I pair it with Library Loot and share what I've gotten out of the library - then, it works for me. So I did a combo one and uploaded it yesterday. Woohoo! Maybe this time it will stick.

Suzie

I am so tired and sore from house stuff I could barely move yesterday. Reg suggested I go out for a quick walk to help wake up. I picked up some fresh fruit, veggies and meat for the weekend and even got grapefruit 50% off. It was chilly though, just 8C but the sun was shining (sneaky sneaky). I am glad I went out. Got some free Vitamin D!

Getting out for walks is definitely high on the re-juv list and I'm glad you got a chance to do it Suzie! And some awesome produce too. I hope you have some relax time mixed in this weekend!

And late add from me! Only a few hours (instead of days!) this time :)

Thanks Shannon! It is so nice to get out and about and get real food, LOL.

LOVE the card and the video was awesome. I especially loved how you ended it, so cute. Your card was so good, I thought it must be based off a font but I guess it isn't? You are such a typographer!!!

Thanks so much Suzie! I really like this card, but it looks so familiar I have a feeling it's almost a copy of something. I will pop up somewhere and I'll be like THAT'S IT! When I do title cards, I don't reference anything (at least not on purpose), I just wait to see what shows up.

That's great that you found a way to make it work for you, Shannon! I hope it ends up being sticky fun :) The card is awesome!

And Suzie, that's great you got out. I know sometimes when we're so tired it's the last thing we want to do but that fresh air and sunshine - not to mention deals - can make all the difference!

I'm adding in my Quebec pics now :)

I can't believe the plane you were on Jamie, that would freak me out! I've been on one before, scared the bejeezus out of me. Well done though and what a lovely photo!

I didn't realize one of the planes that got you to Quebec was so small Jamie. Wow. Lots of bravery this trip that is for sure!
