Jamie

I've had some pretty bad luck healthwise lately. Last week my sinuses filled up and I felt awful. Yesterday, my tummy started feeling very unhappy and that continues today. I'm not sure what to do about it other than to rest and listen to my body which is exactly what I'm doing. Usually resting means hanging out with the kittens too, which is always a treat.

Shannon

I took almost no pictures yesterday, but I did get my Gold Star in! It felt like a bi of a halfsies day, part Monday and still felt like part holiday!

Suzie

We went on a long drive out to Coquitlam and actually got to go to Buntzen Lake which is unheard of for the long weekend because it gets so busy but late in the afternoon on the last day of the long weekend was perfect timing. I even hiked half the path and back. One day I will be strong enough to make it to the other side of the lake but for now I am calling it a win. Felt so good to be back in some serious nature that I hold dear to my heart.

Yay you for your gold star, Shannon! I am with you that it felt like a halfsies day, absolutely!

That's awesome, Suzie. You can almost feel the way that nature like that is healing! I remember going to Buntzen Lake with you guys. It is so beautiful there! I'm glad you got out to it this weekend.

What a gorgeous photo Jamie! The kittens look so relaxed. I am glad they could keep you company while you aren't feeling great. And I'm so sorry to hear you aren't feeling great... again! What a bummer.

How wonderful to be back in nature, Suzie! I know that means so much to you. And yay for the win of the hike, that's great to hear too! I am so impressed.

What a photo Jamie and I am so sorry to hear you now have stomach problems too, that is totally wrong and unfair.

Shannon, way to go on your gold star!

Thank you, yes, it meant a lot to get out into the woods again. There are times I really think I am not meant for so-called civilization. So glad we could share Buntzen Lake with you Jamie.
