Jamie

As I walked down the stairs yesterday morning, Justin said, "You have to go in the kitchen." There's nothing like waking up in the morning and finding a dinosaur egg on your counter! Apparently, they need to incubate in water and so here it is. We're waiting for developments.

Shannon

It officially feels like holiday times are here and with that comes the Christmas Log! I'm really happy it turned out this time, after my last try using the canned whipped cream ended up a puddly mess. And with making it from fresh whipped cream, I could hear Mom telling me to add vanilla and sugar "otherwise it would taste like bleh!", and it really does make all the difference. Yum!

Suzie

I love it when I get just the right foodie action shot! Except you can see the dish towel in the background. Oh well, that's what photo editing is for! I made mini cheesecakes from the Hello Kitty Baking Book yesterday. I got too tired to do the raspberry topping so that is on for tomorrow. I can't believe how much this cookbook has changed my life. I seem to have become a fan of that darn cute cat.

Wow, baking day Shannon! And Mom is right. Vanilla and sugar, super important. I'm glad you used real whipped cream this time. :) Great job!

Look at these desserts! Wow. Well... uh, I guess I posted eggs like Suzie, hehe.

The Yule Log is awesome! I can't wait to finish it off, hehe. Lol, I can't believe how often I hear Mom's voice like that too.

Wow, mini cheesecakes with raspberry topping - I seriously wish you could mail them to me! That's awesome that you're working with the Hello Kitty cookbook - and wow, great shot! I didn't even notice the dishcloth.

Little bit of a late add from me.

Jamie, what the hell are you doing growing a dinosaur egg for?! LOL. I have Jurassic Park flashbacks going on in my brain but I suspect this might be more fun and mysterious. Cool!

I wish I could send them to you too Jamie!!!

Lots of creating, and creation, going on! Looking forward to dino development Jamie :)

Great action shot Suzie! How on earth did you take that? Oh the things we do for documentation. I hope the cheesecakes turned out well! And I totally wouldn't have known that was a dishtowel in the background.

Dino Development, LOL, what is it??? It's driving me crazy!

I took that shot very, very slowly Shannon, LOL. And the cheesecake was AMAZING!!!

It's the editor in me. I'll just crop it out but I am glad that the foodie "drama" in the photo took attention away from it, LOL.
