December 9, 2014

Monday was an awesome day. I grabbed my journal and a book and headed down to the beach for a little birthday celebration of my own. While I was there, I bumped into these gnomes and well... he seemed to have followed me home! Plus I found a signature piece of jewellery that I bought myself from Mom. And after that, we went out and got our tree! Tree, jewellery and gnomes = great day!

This didn't make the cut for stART, but I did almost completely finish my Haunting of Hill House page. There were a lot of great words, from the expect lot including eerie, ghost, haunted, to the unexpected of edity, aberration, errant, mar, maudlin and dignity. The words are so good that I would like to work with them more!

I have to be honest. Yesterday was rough. We got our groceries before the big week of chronic rainfall warnings began but it was stressful and quite miserable.

Sorry to hear you had a rough day Suzie. Glad you got to get some groceries before the crazy weather it. It's that time of year!

Another late add from me.

Oh, Suzie, I'm sorry it sounds like it's been such a rough week. I hope things look up soon.

And Shannon, I'm sorry we missed your word page! I'm so glad you shared it here. It looks awesome and those are some great words. Since you'd mentioned it, I've been thinking about "dignity." Interesting!

I'm loving doing these book pages, and I'm so glad you like it! Maybe I should post them on my blog somewhere...hmmm ;)
