Jamie

While I ran some errands yesterday I had a wonderful time with this lovely little cat. I call her Glow because when I first saw her she was so bright my camera had a hard time capturing her. She had one blue eye, one green eye and was (though the picture makes this hard to believe) a bit hyper. We had a great visit and I got some great pictures. I love Cats in the Hood!

Shannon

I finally finished reading Hemlock Grove! It took me a few times, and I was so determined to get through it this time it became available at the library. It's odd, when I had read parts of it before, I thought the writing was confusing but on this go it was fine. Odd. And it reminded me how much I enjoy the characters, and the TV adaptation. The book covers all of season 1, so now I'm really looking forward to diving into season 2 and hope it's just as crazy.

Suzie

We had a long day of having to be out of the house so we went to a movie theatre closer to the city and were just in time to see Maleficent! I was thrilled since it disappeared from out little theatre a while ago. I loved it. I can see why some people didn't but I loved it and really thought Angelina was born for the role. A great distraction for a very long day.

That's great you liked the book, Shannon. I still remember when you and Suzie watched the first episode. There was lots of "OMG!" hehe

Oh, Suzie, I'm so glad you got to see the movie! I really, really want to see it too but don't think I'll catch it in the theatre :( So glad that you got to and that you enjoyed it!

Jamie, Glow is gorgeous! When you see her again, put the camera on the snow selling, that should help. I saw a cat on Saturday and said to Reg, cats never come to me like they do Jamie and sure enough, she came over and wanted lots of love. Yay!!!

I told Reg about that episode of Hemlock Grove where Shannon and I were screaming and telling Jamie not to come into the living room and he thought, it can't be that bad. Then he watched it and screamed too!

Shannon, that is so cool you are also reading the books and yay to weird!

We got lucky catching the film in the theatres and there were lots of kids there which I guess is helping it do well. Not a huge Angelina fan but wow!!!

Oh my goodness Jamie, what a delightful picture of Glow the cat! Nice stretch! I am glad to see she's mellowed a bit and you two had a good visit :)

I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed Malificent Suzie! I haven't heard too much about it, but I have a feeling I'm going to love it too. YAY for good distractions.

Hah, the first eps of Hemlock Grove were CRAZY! The book is too, so at least it was done in earnest.
