Jamie

Canada Day was great. It was so nice to have a day that really, really felt like a holiday. I did some puttering, some drawing, some watching - and, of course, there were burgers. A great day!

Shannon

With it being the beginning of the month it was time for my TV previews for new and returning shows. I'm not as crazy into TV this summer but now that I've been doing these a while it just seem right to go a month without them. How do I get suckered into habits so quickly?

Suzie

Reg and I went for a long drive to Lawrencetown Beach and when we came home Mom's rose bush was starting to bloom! What is amazing is there are so many more buds this year than before. At first this plant really struggled but now it's doing very well, I am so happy to say!

Interesting that you're not so much into TV this summer Shannon, I have been feeling the same way. Oh habits are quite addicting, aren't they? Happens to me too and then I'm like, wait, when did this happen? How did this happen?

New add from me! Woke up late this morning.

I'm so thrilled to hear Mom's roses are doing well Suzie! They are totally one of those colours that are hard for cameras to pick up, but you totally got it!

Yep, TV not super pulling me in this summer. I do have several shows I'm watching but I'm less keen to keep up to date on everything, or try new shows. Of course...I am watching lots on Netflix, hehehehe.

It is! Oh that colour is so hard to get and you are right about the challenge of also getting definition. Thank you, I'm glad I got it. :)

I'm curious, you watching Big Brother this summer? It's one of the few shows I am watching. I'm looking forward to Hemlock Grove coming back. Oh yes, Netflix is the best!

Yep, watching Big Brother and very much looking forward to Hemlock Grove's return - which shouldn't be long now!

Oh I missed you pic Jamie! I love the Canada flags on all the balconies. This year Canada Day was awesome! It totally felt like a holiday, a very relaxed day and awesome company & food!
