Jamie

Thursday night guitar was cancelled so Justin and I took advantage of the free evening and went to the movies instead! We caught the X-men film right before it was gone, thank goodness! Afterwards we scored a great window seat at a local pub that had about a gazillion craft beers to choose from. It was a great summer night out!

Shannon

I quite quickly got too much of a good thing with my awesome new desk space....being at it too much! Time to change things up and kick back with some popcorn and TV catch up.

Suzie

I couldn't take it anymore. We have had days and days of darkness and rain and I've been stuck at home with nothing to do so I got out my serger and attacked a pair of paints that were too long and now they fit much better. Just put the serger on the floor, serged and put it back. Closest thing to liberation I have felt in a long time.

Oh dear Shannon, I can totally see how that can happen! Glad you're taking breaks and BTW, you totally inspired me to get a hot air popcorn maker, LOL.

Popcorn is a great lure, Shannon! I can so relate to sticking with too much of a good thing! (Actually, sometimes that's popcorn, hehe) I'm glad that mixing it up helps.

Who knew that sewing would be liberating?! That's awesome, Suzie. You really do have to live your life too!

And you know, I just heard back from Auntie Laima and she's going to lend me a sewing machine so I can give it a go! I'm so excited. (Did I just say that?)

Late add from me.

Aw! You look so great Jamie and I'm glad you and Justin went out and had a good time with guitar being cancelled. We actually liked the X-Men movie and I hope you two did as well!

Thanks Jamie! I was so desperate to do something empowering and creative. I'm so excited FOR you about the sewing machine. Double weird eh? LOL. We're going to have fun. Sew much fun!

Woohoo to a night out and the movies and a window seat! That is all awesomeness :)

Way to go for hemming pants and getting to DO SOMETHING. It must be frustrating having to keep the house to picture perfect. I am glad you had a chance to rebel out Suzie! And YAY for hot air poppers. They are the best!

Lol Jamie, it's so true that popcorn can be the too-much-of-a-good-thing thing. It certainly can be for me at times!
