Jamie

Yesterday was a very full day. The very emotional highlight was stopping into the garden centre and finding this vinca. I've never seen vinca at any of the garden centres I go to and at ours, there was this one, just this one. Vinca is what mom asked me to plant on her grave. I think it is no accident that this showed up so near to the anniversary of her passing. I have planted it in our backyard for now and hope that it will grow hardy enough that I'll be able to keep a piece for myself while taking the rest to plant in Mom's garden.

Shannon

Catuch up with the new AMC series Halt and Catch Fire. It's set during the 80's and about a group of people that try and create competition for IBM. Not totally convinced that I like it, but I'll continue to watch it for now. I'm feel very uncommited on new shows right now, which is very strange for me!

Suzie

Working on a secret foodie project for President's Choice and the timing could not have been worse. Yesterday was the day from hell but I managed to pull it off. Yay!

Wow, Shannon, I looked at that and saw it as a command and sat here thinking, what would it mean to "Halt and Catch Fire." Interesting. I'll be curious how the show pans out for you.

Wow, wtg, Suzie. I'm sorry it was a strain. I wish you could put up your feet, rest and have naps (and make crobots!) whenever there was no showing. ((hugs))

Oh Jamie, how very beautiful and meaningful that is.

Shannon, I haven't heard anything about that show!

Thanks Jamie, me too. Especially the crobots! I can rest today between two showing so that helps.

Life is insanity right now.

It's so special that you found that vinca right at this time of year Jamie. It's quite amazing how things happen sometimes I am wishing for it to grow heartily for you have be able to take some to plant for mom at her grave.

I'm glad you were able to pull off the foodie surprize Suzie, but sorry to hear things are challenging. Maybe it's time to hold on external commitments until things are more settled.

The show started last Sunday on AMC. I really like one of the actors (Lee Pace), but can't yet decide on the show which likely means a no. So feeling uncommitted to new shows at this time.
