November 25, 2014

Jamie

The weather was absolutely wild yesterday. The sky was fast-moving, sometimes grey, grey, grey and then sometimes beautiful blue and wispy clouds like this. Sunshine streamed through one moment and later on there was a downpour. The one constant was the wind. Despite the weirdness, Justin and I got out to the movies and saw Birdman (or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). We really enjoyed it and got a lot out of it. It's not mainstream and may not be that accessible but it was thought-provoking well-acted and really immersed in the world of the theatre. For that alone, I loved it.

Shannon

Although it feels early to be in the holiday spirit, I don't think I can deny that I am! I am going to break out my new mug and get all cheer-y.

Suzie

Had some serious coffee drama today! Reg helped me bring home a new coffee maker. Sometimes being cheap doesn't pay!

Shannon, that mug is so cute it totally inspires holiday spirit! I think it's time to break it out for sure. I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying stepping into it slowly - the wreath, cookies. clementines, mugs. All awesome!

Whoa, Suzie, sounds like quite the story there. I hope everything was okay. Here's to getting a coffeemaker you can rely on!

Jamie, I so wanted to see Birdman! I'm glad that despite the ever-changing weather you got out to the movies. Sweet!

Shannon, even I am getting into the Christmas spirit this year so I saw go for it and OMG, I still so adore that much.

We got a poinsettia yesterday for spending so much at the Superstore!

It was enough for me to go out and get a brand new coffee maker but not to worry, I'm OK. Just another product to review! Wish I got it for free!
