October 10, 2014

Jamie

A trip to the doctor's included a record time waiting. Luckily it also included quite a beautiful day. Looks like I'm still recovering and in need of rest - and a few blood tests.

Shannon

It was get to get out to journal this week, and all the more fun with my new sparkly journal. I even resisted lots of delectable treats and went with a (hopefully) healthier option on banana bread to quell my snackish cravings.

Suzie

I made it to my local library yesterday and got books! Imagine that. I am really interested in the history of Vancouver (weird, I know) and really wanted to read about it. Also, I have been eyeing that amigurumi book at amazon and now I can check it out at home. Oh and I found my crochet hooks!!! Crafts room is still a disaster but I could finally get to my closet which is where they were, safety stowed on the top shelf at the back.

Yay to getting out to journal. Sparkly notebook ftw!! Was their banana bread good?

That's awesome you got to your local library, Suzie, and they had good choices for you! That reminds me that I have to renew my card. What a treat to review the amigurumi book at home. I hope you find something that gets you inspired to use your found hooks! Yay!

(Late add from me)

Oh Jamie, I hate those long waiting times and I know that's a long journey. I hope that getting the tests done isn't too hard for you.

Yes, so happy I got that amigurumi book too, it's so helpful that I decided to buy it and yes! So happy I found my hooks.

The nice thing is we have a great clinic nearby for the tests, so that shouldn't be so bad.

I can't wait to see what you make from your book!
