Jamie

One of my favourite things lately is just taking pictures of what happens to be lying on my desk. Yesterday I got ready for my video from my desk and so I had some beauty supplies lying about. I have to say I invested in this beautiful set of brushes and they are a joy to use every time. They work so well and they feel just lovely too.

There we have my newly named (but 2nd time made) Chicken Crisper Casserole! Chicken, veggies and pasta plus powdered cream of vegetable soup made into a roux and then a sauce and voila! Casserole! Yum!

My Recipe to Riches journey is coming to an end. I have to say I worked my butt off and it was a ton of fun. Reg took me out for groceries yesterday because yet more stormy winter weather is here and so I could get a photo of the finalists of the contest. Apparently everyone with the show is super thrilled with my work so I could not be happier. That said, my back has healed a lot and I am looking forward to getting back to my food and kitchen soon.

I love Chicken Crisper Casserole! Absolutely delicious - and always a bit of a surprise. Awesome! And I love how that picture has the feeling of a reveal!

Suzie, that's great news that everyone is delighted with your work - and of course, because you always do awesome work! I am so glad to hear that your back has done a lot of healing, despite being so incredibly busy. That's great news.

Late add from me :)

What an awesome moment in time and glance at your desk Jamie. It's so lovely that the brushes you invested in are a joy to use, I see the investing in tools works for all formats!

Wow, Suzie you did so much work on the Recipe to Riches , I wish I had watched the show to totally get the experience! It's awesome to hear the people involved in the show have been happy with your work - that is so a sweet treat after a journey indeed.

Thanks for the kind words on the Chicken Crisper Casserole, I love that it's been different every time and Suzie I bet you could totally rock this recipe.

Lovely image Jamie! Good tools, it's all about good tools, isn't it?

Thank you both about my R2R efforts. It helped me too. Having content to blog about while resting my back worked out well.

I love a meal that keeps morphing, that is awesome Shannon and yes, gotta pick up some of that Knorr soup so I can try it!
