April 16, 2014

After a 20-degree day it is really weird to wake up and see snow! I love what Tanya wrote on Facebook - Did you hear that? It's the sound of thousands of Torontonians muttering expletives this morning. You could just feel it! I hope the tender shoots of green I discovered in the garden this weekend will be okay.

Just when we thought winter was done…..

We are putting the finishing touches up in the bathroom. I really wanted to go for a spa feel, hence the "morning rain" grey paint and the stainless steel light plates. Make it more modern to boot. We are so close to having the upstairs bathroom finished. It would be nice to have one room completely done. Just have to figure out how to put up the cabinet back up!

Oh good grief… Snow!!! We might be getting it here too. I remember it snowed there last year around the same time of year.

You're right, Suzie, it did! This weather was so hard to pack for, wasn't it? We're having that street sale again and I keep thinking of you.

Wow, that's so wonderful, Suzie. The finishing touches make all the difference. A spa-feel bathroom sounds just right. I'm sure it's going to feel so good to get one room completely done!

It really was so weird to wake up to snow. April is officially unpredictable as far as weather is concerned!!

Those are some pretty snazzy light plates Suzie, I can totally understand the feel you are going for and these are a great finishing touch!
