Jamie

The piano is in the kitchen! The first round of repairs is complete. It turns out there was an incorrect piece with the leg so that still has to be resolved but this is huge progress. I did have to give up my art tickle trunk but I think I'll get the supplies on the book shelf and the trunk will move upstairs. The back of the kitchen is starting to get a little dedicated to the arts!

Suzie

Yesterday was a weird day. I woke up at weird times, fell back asleep at weird times, had to get my new glasses... So it took me a while to put together this video for my new blender and the giveaway. This is the one where I hate my hair and totally screwed up a lot but I did more video and photographs and added music and sound effects and was kind of happy with it in the end. I am so going to get my haircut as soon as I can though!

For a moment I thought you were actually giving up your tickle trunk Jamie! That would be a big oh no! Glad to hear it's just finding a new home. The piano looks awesome in the kitchen and I'm sure it's nice to have things start to settle a bit and having a whole arts-kitchen sounds pretty amazing to me!!

Love the video Suzie! Sorry you don't like your hair in it, that's one of the challenges with videos is that you are always 'on', ack! But I thought it was great. Really dynamic and a lot of fun, and wow that blender looks fantastic. Can't wait to see the product review, and still so impressed that you are doing a giveaway too.

I loved the video, Suzie. Your enthusiasm for this blender comes through - and it made me so curious to see it make smoothies! Do you know how much one of these costs?

I think you look great but I so get what you're talking about! I get this too with my dailies. I was saying to Shannon I've got to start watching YouTube videos about different ways to do my length hair!

The cedar chest aka "tickle trunk" has moved up to the bedroom but the supplies are finding a home on the bookshelf. Maybe this will be better and make them even more likely to be used. More and more I'm liking how the back of the kitchen is turning into an arts centre. And it seems to be happening of ifs own accord.

Hey, Suzie, it kind of reminds me of Montreal where we had the kids art space at the back of the family room!

Wow Jamie, that is major progress! Good for you and Shannon's right, it looks awesome in the kitchen.

Thank you both! I am glad that you liked the video! I am so relieved.

The last time I checked the blender is $149.99. It is plastic though but BPA free. I am OK with smoothies in it but a little wary of doing warm blending for soups and sauces.

I ran out of mousse so I found my hair totally flat and I haven't had a cut since February I think.

Interesting that moving the tickle trunk may actually be a positive creative change, who would have thought? Kitchen arts centre sounds awesome to me, so funny how things happen. That's true! We did have an arts area at the back of the family room in Montreal, I totally forgot about that Jamie!
