Jamie

Yesterday it was SO great to sit at the kitchen table with Shannon and plot out how and when all of these wonderful plans for the studio can unfold. It was particularly great to create a weekly schedule with dedicated time for the things I want to bring to life over the next 18 months. I can even see how in the future this schedule will be able to make room for Creative Work Day! I think we were able to take the plan from "Impossible!" to "Sheer madness!" by Shannon subconsciously pulling a Scotty on me. For a while we thought we had overbooked by a day so when we got in there and cut, cut, cut, just the right schedule emerged. Thank you, Shannon!

It's funny, originally when I looked at this pic I thought it was my morning pages but it's actually my to do list. Oddly, I don't usually work on it in this specific place, but apparently yesterday I did! I'm not sure how much I got done as this is just when I wrote it, and then when I do the to do's I highlight them. I like this because 1) sense of accomplishment and 2) I can still see the writing later if I need it for reference and 3) it's very easy to spot what's unhighlighted and left to do...something I find is not easy when I cross things off my list.

I'm so glad that the schedule worked out Jamie! And I cant' believe I pulled a subconscious Scotty! That really helped let everything fall into place.

I really hope the new schedule works for you, and there are so many exciting things that it will make happen! I can't wait to see it all come into fruition :)

Clearly it was a good day for planning! I love the highlighting system. So smart!

I'm excited to try out my schedule this week. It's already been shifted as I woke up early to finish the last draft of my newsletter, hehe. But I'm really looking forward to living the schedule this week and seeing how it feels.
