Jamie

Yesterday I spent the day having a rev-o-rama with my dear friend Fabeku. The goal is to really connect you to your super power and then use that as a guiding light. It includes two Sonic Vroom sessions by Fabeku, where he goes deep with his drums and then comes back with powerful metaphors to guide your way. Mine included luxurious red theatre curtains, two small owls, a chorus of female ancestors, a golden bird suit and a magnetic engine. Wow! I feel really tuned into the energy I bring to the world and have some strong ideas for how to channel that powerfully. What a day!

Shannon

I've noticed recently that I have zero recent pics of me so although this is uber-traditional Shannon shot, at least it's a new one or me in my hood.

Suzie

As you both know I picked up the same edition of the cookbook Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book Mom had in her kitchen when we were growing up. Totally a treasure, turned my day from crap all the way around. I was amazed how many people on FB said that this was one of their favourite cookbooks. I called Mom too and she was thrilled her favourite fried chicken was in there because it was taken out of the later edition that she has. I've been so homesick lately, this was like a hug to get me through until I'm finally back with family for a visit!

Wow, what a day for both of you!

I love the idea of a Rev-o-Rama Jamie and it sounds like it was brimming with ideas, energy and clarity - what an awesome mix.

It's so amazing that you found that Cookbook Suzie, it's totally a staple and I have no idea how I ended up with it, lol - probably one of the few trade offs of being one of the last to leave home! tee hee. What a lovely hug of a book for ya :)

Jamie, I am trying to wrap my head around that process, how fascinating! It sounds like it was really helpful and mind-bending and opening at the same time.

Love that photo of you Shannon! So great to see one of you in your hood which I can't wait to explore with you.

You are so lucky to have the "original" cookbook Shannon and can't wait to cook with it!

I love seeing a picture of you, Shannon! It's true - it made me realize I haven't "seen you" in pictures lately! Missed you! hehe

And hey, I have an idea! We thought we'd celebrate Mother's Day when you do get to visit, Suzie. Let's make that chicken for Mom!

Yay to the cookbook. I'm so glad it turned your day around!

I would love to celebrate Mom Day while I'm there! Mom wants to go to Cora's at some point too. But I think also making that chicken sounds perfect!
