It felt really weird to get out to the movies during TIFF, but not see a film part of the festival. Very weird. On a also weird side note, I feel like one of the ways you know you are at the Carlton theatre is the sound of someone opening a can of pop just as the movie starts.

Tuesday I had decided to call and confirm that our stuff was arriving on Friday and found out that the truck was still in New Brunswick. Sigh… Now they're saying Monday. I went back to bed for a while and got some rest but Reg convinced me to roll out of the covers and do some basic paint prep of the apartment. So, I decided to at least move in my pink crocs that the packers didn't pack so I had to move myself. Put them on our outdoor patio so at least part of me feels at home.

Shoes to make it feel like home! How awesome :) And I'm so sorry that the movers are going to be later than expected, how not fun. Maybe you can have fun over the weekend instead of unpacking!

What movie did you see Shannon? And yes, must feel surreal going out seeing something at this time of year.

Yes, we'll probably do touristy things over the weekend to have fun. Although I honestly just want to go to bed and sleep for a week!

I went to see both If I Stay and The Giver. They are both based on books and Marina & I will chat If I Stay on Before the Dawn. Trying a double bill wasn't very smart. Oh well. And I really liked The Giver, and I adored the book so it was nice to see a pretty good adaptation.

LOL, I recognized the theatre as soon as I saw the pic, Shannon - and I couldn't even hear the can of pop :) I'm glad you enjoyed the movie!

What a hassle, Suzie! I can't believe it. Yay to moving in your crocs. Here's to coming home.
