Jamie

It was great to see Dad this weekend. He took us through his wonderful Greece trip and then took us out to dinner. I love how Shannon and Dad's plaid matches! And the smile too!

With my recent book-research obsession, it's really odd that the book I just finished wasn't on any of my own lists and I can't say I enjoyed and would be hard pressed to recommend. And then when I did look it up, I found out it has received high acclaim, multiple awards and short listed for others. I'm totally at odds with the book, and it feels very strange.

Suzie

Well we both did it. Reg and I overdid it. By the time I finished putting the last coat on the outdoor furniture (I had to, it's going to rain for days) I could barely stand, my legs and back were so bad. Reg threw out his back helping a friend move and then move stuff around the house. I feel like the house is only half done but we're meeting with the real estate agent. This is so much harder than just moving, I can't believe it. Now I know why people refuse to stage their home.

It's a bummer and kind of surreal when you have a totally different experience than other people when reading a book. I guess picking one from your own list is a good idea and hopefully you will enjoy it more!

It was really weird Suzie, I was so surprized when I looked at reviews afterwards and how many people loved it and I was like... umm... wha? Not my crowd, I guess!

Way to go on finishing painting the outdoor furniture Suzie, I am so sorry to hear the process has been so hard on you and Reg. Hopefully the real estate agent has some good thoughts and news!

It's true, it can be so shocking to feel so totally different. Yup, not your book crowd!

Thanks Shannon, it's been tough and Reg really got hurt.

Wow, I know you were sticking with that book. It's too bad it ended up not being something you enjoyed. It's so weird when lots of people love something and you're like, "Uh?" Hopefully the books on your list will be more enjoyable!

Suzie, you guys have done so much work. I'm sorry it's taking such a toll. I'll keep hoping that all of it pays off in the end. Sending lots of love and healing vibes.

A late add from me.

OMG Jamie that is the best photo ever! Thank you so much for sharing that and it's true, same smile and similar shirts, LOL. Love it. So glad you all had a great time together. And thanks for the vibes. I am picking myself up off the floor and continuing on!
