Suzie

I finally had a day to work a bit on my Hal-Con costume. I used the Flamingo Pink dye and now also have pink turtle necks and tank tops. Couldn't let the dye go to waste! I had a lot of shirts that were discolouring and now, well, they are very colourful! Because the tights were synthetic, they turned just a light dusty rose pink which is exactly what I wanted. Yay!

How clever to use the dye to not only work for your HalCon outfit but also brighten up some fading shirts? That's awesome Suzie! And I'm glad it turned out the colour you wanted, synethics are way less likely to take dye but you can totally come up with some cool colours that way~!

Thanks Shannon! I never like anything to go to waste and these clothes were going to get donated so why not?! I don't usually wear a super-bright pink but I am trying to add more bold colours to my life.

Isn't that funny about the tights? I just had a feeling they wouldn't take the brightness and they ended up being a more dusty rose which is what I wanted. :)

Yay to things turning out just like you want! What a good idea to toss in those other clothes. It'll be nice to infuse the winter - and Halcon - with some brightness!
