October 7, 2013

This weekend we got over to Shannon's to help with the packing. We made amazing progress - and enjoyed good company, coffee, scones and sandwiches! There's nothing like turning work into something enjoyable. Things are really coming along!

This is the space after Jamie & Justin helped me - and wow, I am so thankful!  I actually have some room to breathe and will be able to continue to go though stuff to make more progress as the move date inches forward.  Starting early was really smart.  I find pacing it out this long weird, but it makes a lot of sense.

Since I haven't been feeling well I took the weekend off and stayed home. It gave me time to do some crafting (which I will save for stART) and to put together my first foodie rant video. I never thought I would feel angry enough to do a rant but this product got me started and now I am not sure I am going to stop. It deserved it though. It got a rating of "straight to the compost bin".

Yay to all that packing done! I think this is definitely a more enjoyable pace than our Chemical Brothers/Oasis move, lol. Yep, I'm voting for this pace ;) I'm so glad you have room to breathe and enjoy some space. Yay! (Now, bird dog! j/k ;))

Suzie, that video is SO YOU! I just kept smiling through the whole thing because it is so true to your voice, your spirit, your way. I hope they'll have the good oatmeal available too!

The progress you have made is absolutely amazing and it is all feeling so real, even for me so far away! Glad the pace is working out even though it feels a bit weird Shannon.

Oh good! I am so glad you liked the rant video Jamie and that my personality came across. I really wanted it to be as authentic as possible. Your feedback really helps and I glad it made you smile!

BTW, that product is still at my store. (shudder)

Hey that's me! Amazing, the first two pics are like a before and after. Or like a 'during' and after! I'm so thankful for the progress made, and a pacing that involves good company and scones!

I'm so sorry to hear you got something from your store that wasn't what you wanted and that it was super-gross. Way to tell them what for. People love rant videos, and it definitely feels super truthful Suzie. I hope you can get back to the regular oatmeal soon!

That is you Shannon! And you all made huge progress, it's astounding.

Thanks Shannon. I can't tell you how shocked I was by it, especially because I wasn't expecting it.

So far people seem to be enjoying the video and yay, so glad it feels truthful. I don't want to just make drama. I picked up some regular oatmeal so I am good for the next little while, yay!
