Jamie

I am so enjoying the absolutely perfect fall weather we're having - moderate temperatures, clear blue skies, sun shining, leaves gently falling. It has been beautiful. Yesterday I walked to and from art picnic. We had a lovely, sensitive, heartfelt discussion over coffee yesterday. It was truly wonderful.

One of the many things to do when prepping for a move is laundry. Lots of laundry. I was happy that when I came home from doing laundry, that all of the single-socks that came with me .... all had their pair-friends waiting for them in the drawer! Woohoo! More socks! At least it feels like more socks :)

Suzie

It took me a while to figure out what to do with my glasses but I took them back yesterday and ordered ones that are just for reading. At least I think so. They definitely won't be progressive lenses and that is the most important part for me. I have to wait a couple of more weeks for the new lenses to come in. I don't think I can wait anymore though and will get back to crocheting without glasses for a while.

Nothing like that perfect autumn weather Jamie! And time spent with friends discussing art, what could be better?

Oh yes Shannon, more sock indeed because now you can wear them! What an adorable photo, I love it.

Sounds like a lovely fall day Jamie, both weather-wise and emotionally; how wonderful :)

I'm glad to hear you are switching your glasses Suzie, from what you described the progressive ones totally weren't working for you at all. I hope the reading ones do! And that they don't take too long.

I really am enjoying the weather. In fact, it's inspiring me to get out and get stuff done!

I love your cute little socks, Shannon. Oh, you have wonderful colours in your socks. Mine are, unsurprisingly, mostly white, black and grey :)

I'm glad you struck on a solution that you feel better about, Suzie. I hope it works for you. I wear my contacts and then grabbed some $15 reading glasses from the drug store. I hope the reading glasses work for you!

It has been quite warm here and suddenly the trees are turning colour!

Me too Shannon, I hope I get the glasses soon and that they work.

Yes to colourful socks, no matter what the colour!

I am wondering if getting $15 reading glasses is the way to go. They didn't give me my prescription but I will get it when I pick up my glasses. Ugh.
