Jamie

Even though a day of erranding and appointments can be tiring, I just LOVE it when it takes me to a neighbourhood I love and the weather's nice and I can turn the entire event into a photo safari. I had such a good time finding moments yesterday and this one is my favourite. I just love the way the light and shadow arrived and how this metal cat looks like she's sharpening her claws on the tree. Artistic delight found on a walk - I love that!

Shannon

A quick shot while I was out yesterday and a little reprieve in the middle of busy-ness.  Came home tired but very, very relieved.

Suzie

This display at my opthamologist's was just too weird not to share. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to use it for today's post. I am so relieved to have real glasses that actually work! I could do crochet last night quite easily. I had no idea how much I was struggling without having help seeing. What a relief!

What a cool image Shannon, I always love your perspective. I am glad you had a little quiet me time out but even that can be exhausted. Gentle hug.

Aw! Thanks Suzie :) It was nice to just sit for a moment. Some days are like that. I'm very thankful there is a coffee place at that particular spot.

omg, that it so the weirdest things Suzie! Are those like Halloween eyeballs to help with donations of sight awareness? I think you have the right eye doctor! And I'm so glad you have glasses that work for you - way to go on holding out to make sure that you got the right ones.

It's great to have a coffee spot to go to for rest and recovery Shannon.

I know! I guess that is a sign I am at the right eye doctor's appointment. Yes, that's what those eyeballs are for the the office was wearing a similar shirt.

Yes, glad I didn't give up! These are definitely the right ones. I can look over the top to watch the TV for instruction and back to my hands. It inspired me (and the cheque from The Battered Fish) to sign up for a sewing class. Now I have a lot of entertainment and projects for the winter. It really helps being able to see. I could hardly thread the sewing machine with Auntie Laima was here. That's when I realized it's not an option anymore. I need them!

LOL, Suzie, I had exactly the same thought - that you are in the right place there! How wonderful that you finally have your glasses and that they are helpful. What a relief!

And speaking of relief, I'm so glad the day turned out that way for you, Shannon. Being able to stop for a coffee break always adds something nice to the day. I'm glad there's a spot there too.

Late add from me!

Oh I love that photo Jamie! I saw in on FB, so cool. I can see you having one like it too. A little artistic delight added to a busy errand day sounds good to me too.
